Vietnam

Classification, duty and clearance
HSN classification
Solar panels and cells sit under heading 8541, and modules and cells carry
different eight-digit codes. The code you declare sets the duty.
Basic Customs Duty
BCD is the import duty applied on the bill of entry, calculated on CIF value.
It is usually the largest single line in an imported module's landed cost.
Customs clearance
The clearance sequence, the documents it runs on, and the points where
shipments most often stall at the port.
