VyaparCred operates a B2B marketplace for solar BOM components and embedded trade finance, serving buyers, suppliers, and lending partners across India and 9+ sourcing corridors. This policy applies to the website at vyaparcred.com and the services we provide through it. Using the platform means you have read and understood how we handle the information described below.

Information we collect

We collect only the information we need to verify who you are, process your sourcing requests, and assess financing. This falls into three groups.

Account data

When you register as a buyer or supplier, we collect identifying and business details such as your name, work email, phone number, company name, role, and the documents you submit for verification, for example GST or business registration details, and any certifications you reference (BIS, IEC, ALMM, MNRE). For financing, we collect the additional financial and KYC information required to underwrite and disburse an order.

RFQ and transaction data

When you post a request for quote, place an order, or apply for funding, we collect the details of that activity: the categories and specifications you request, quantities, target landed costs, destination, quotes exchanged, purchase orders, invoices, and the status of any financing program you use.

Usage and device data

We collect technical information generated as you use the platform, IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, and timestamps. This helps us keep the service secure, diagnose problems, and understand how the platform is used.

How we use it

We use your information to: verify accounts and onboard suppliers; match RFQs to suitable verified suppliers and return comparable quotes; process orders and route payments; assess, approve, and service financing applications; communicate with you about quotes, orders, and account activity; maintain the security and integrity of the platform; meet legal, tax, and regulatory obligations; and improve our services. We do not sell your personal information.

Sharing with verified suppliers and lending partners

The core function of VyaparCred depends on limited, purpose-bound sharing. To fulfil your requests, we share relevant data as follows:

Verified suppliers

When you post an RFQ, we share the details needed for suppliers to quote, specifications, quantities, and destination. We do not share more than is necessary to return you a usable quote.

Lending partners

When you apply for PO Finance, Trade Finance & LC, Invoice Discounting, or Vendor Payment, we share the account, transaction, and KYC information our institutional lending partners require to assess and disburse funding. You can review the financing programs on our financing page.

Service providers and legal requirements

We share data with trusted providers who help us operate the platform (for example hosting, payments, and identity verification), bound by confidentiality and data-protection obligations. We may also disclose information where required by law or to protect the rights and safety of users and the platform.

Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, secure the platform, and measure how it is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may limit parts of the service.

Data security

We apply technical and organisational measures designed to protect your information against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or loss, including encryption in transit, access controls, and limiting access to personnel who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active and for as long as needed to provide the service, then for the period required to meet legal, tax, accounting, and regulatory obligations or to resolve disputes. When data is no longer required, we delete it or anonymise it.

Your rights and how to exercise them

Subject to applicable law, you can request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct inaccurate data, request deletion, object to or restrict certain processing, and withdraw consent where processing relies on it. To exercise any of these rights, email support@vyaparcred.com from the address associated with your account. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, and some data may be retained where we are legally required to keep it.

International data and cross-border sourcing

Because we source across China, Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, UAE, Cambodia, and Hong Kong, fulfilling an RFQ or financing an order may involve transferring relevant data to suppliers, lenders, or service providers located outside India. Where we transfer data across borders, we take steps to ensure it remains protected consistent with this policy and applicable law.

Children

VyaparCred is a business-to-business service intended for use by organisations and their authorised representatives. It is not directed to individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe we have collected such information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our services, technology, or legal obligations change. When we make material changes, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you through the platform. Continued use of the service after an update means you accept the revised policy.
